Modern-day slavery still exists, and it is as brutal and ugly as ever. The problem is rampant, and 40.3 MILLION people have been impacted [i]. Alarmingly, 1 out of 4 victims who are forced into labor or sex trafficked is a child. The majority of victims are girls [ii].

I didn't know how severe and vast this problem was until a friend of mine invited me to watch The Abolitionists.

I was HORRIFIED. I lost sleep. My brain could not comprehend how children could be abused and raped for profit 40 times a day. I couldn't understand how adults, the designated protectors, and nurturers of this planet, could willfully participate in the destruction of these young lives.

When you know what is happening to these children, you have choices:

A. Feel bad and do nothing.

OR

​

B. Feel bad and do something.

​

I believe most people want to choose B. They just don't know what to do or how to help.

Solo, it's hard to make an impact, but together we can change the world.

I've teamed up with inspiring, like-minded friends to focus on solutions. Our goal is to support programs and organizations working towards three quadrants of the anti-trafficking fight - Prevention | Rescue | Recovery and doing those through coordinated and intentional financial campaigns and essential oil donations. Although the subject matter of the cause is complicated, this group is dedicated to hope, healing, and providing resources and opportunities to help.
